WordPress & Front-End Developer
I’m Cristhian Lara, a WordPress & Front-End developer working in digital agencies since 2013. I’ve contributed directly or indirectly to more than 40 WordPress projects, turning Figma designs and client requirements into functional, responsive, production-ready websites.
01 · About me
I’ve worked in digital agencies since 2013, developing and maintaining WordPress solutions. My contribution spans interfaces and the logic behind them: themes, plugins, integrations and responsive front-end work.
My professional experience centers on WordPress and front-end development. React is part of my guided practice, and TypeScript of my ongoing learning and technical familiarity—not an established production track record.
02 · Real work
Each project started with an approved Figma design and client-defined goals. My role was translating those visual decisions into maintainable architectures, integrations and experiences built to solve real needs.
Technical catalog · Optimization tool terrard.com
I built a technical catalog and a cutting-optimization tool for boards on WordPress. The Custom Post Types and ACF architecture keeps materials and specifications in sync, while Optitab manages parts, edge-banding and machining, validates dimensions and exports a structured cutting order to Excel.
Real-estate platform · Custom search wallyperez.net
I built a real-estate platform on WordPress with properties, geographic taxonomies and ACF Pro-managed fields. Its AJAX search filters inventory by location, operation, price and features without reloading the page, while the architecture handles agents, availability, payment schemes and inventory integration with external platforms.
Real estate ecosystem parc.com.do
I built a real-estate architecture on WordPress to manage projects, unit types, amenities and floor plans through Custom Post Types, taxonomies and ACF. The portal centralizes institutional content, while pages like PARC 131 present each development, capture contextualized leads and load galleries, viewers and animations only where needed.

Shopify Collaboration
I collaborated on a Shopify theme built with Liquid, JSON templates, reusable sections and snippets. I implemented blocks manageable from the Theme Customizer and helped customize products, variants, galleries and an async cart, while also adapting third-party apps and optimizing script and style loading.
I built a B2B parts catalog on WordPress, without the overhead of a transactional platform. Custom Post Types, ACF and cross taxonomies link manufacturers and categories, while batch importing automates loading and organizing hundreds of records to streamline lookup and quote requests.
I built a corporate portal on WordPress with Custom Post Types and ACF to manage divisions, projects and institutional content. The modular architecture integrates tabs, galleries and forms, combining lazy loading, WebP images and conditional scripts to keep a solid visual experience without unnecessarily compromising performance.

03 · Capabilities
Plugins, themes and editorial structures that respond to the project instead of a generic template.
APIs and external services transformed into clear workflows inside WordPress.
Responsive and accessible interfaces, with motion that supports the content.
Optimization, maintenance and decisions designed to keep working after launch.
04 · How I work
Before designing a screen, I understand what needs to happen and who will use it.
I choose tools for their purpose, not to fill a technology list.
Documentation, performance and maintenance are part of the result.
